Neil Wood is from a blueberry farming town in New Jersey with two older sisters, a single mother, and anywhere from 4 to 17 Aunts depending on the holiday. He looks like a 6’5” Yacht Club kid but grew up around farming and doing donuts in the back of the Good Will strip mall.

Neil started standup after college in Philadelphia, he went on to perform on shows all over the tri-state area, as well as in California, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Atlanta, and Savannah.

In 2021, Neil Wood and Comedian-friend Adam Nutter started DropTent Media Network LLC. They wanted to bring together comedians, artists, musicians, producers, and beyond to make great comedy shows of their own and a podcasting network to support the Philly-area talent. DropTent has gone on to run monthly shows at the Pop Inn Bar in Chalfont, PA from 2019 to 2022 and currently runs successful shows at Wissahickon Brewery (Philadelphia, PA), Autumn Lake Winery (Williamstown, NJ), White Horse Winery (Hammonton, NJ), and Meyers Brewing Co. (Philadelphia, PA).
